This information is published in accordance with Article 10 of Spanish Act 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI).

2. Acceptance of these terms

Using the website and buying from it means you have read and accepted these terms. The terms that apply are those published at the time you place the order, so keep a copy if you wish. We may change them in the future, but changes do not affect orders already placed.

3. Who can buy

  • You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • The details you give us when registering or ordering must be true and up to date. If we find false details we may cancel the account or the order.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us.

4. Products, prices and taxes

  • Prices are shown in euros and include VAT.
  • Shipping costs, where they apply, are calculated and shown to you in the basket, before you confirm the order. The total shown on the confirmation screen is what you are charged.
  • We try to make photographs and descriptions accurate, but slight colour differences may appear depending on your screen.
  • If an obvious typing or system error makes a price clearly wrong, we will tell you before processing the order and you may either confirm it at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.

5. How the purchase is completed

  1. You add products to the basket and fill in your delivery and billing details.
  2. You choose a carrier and a payment method, and review the summary with the total amount.
  3. You confirm the order and accept these terms.
  4. We send you a confirmation email. The contract is formed at that moment.

The contract may be concluded in Spanish or English. We keep an electronic record of the order and you can ask us for a copy at info@zapatoideal.com. Before pressing the payment button you can correct any detail by going back in the form.

If a product turns out to be unavailable after you have ordered, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund the full amount at no cost to you.

6. Payment methods

  • Credit or debit card, through the secure Redsys gateway.
  • Bank transfer. The order is prepared once the payment is confirmed.

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Your card details are entered directly in the payment provider's secure environment: we never see or store them.

7. Delivery

  • Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, and mainland Portugal: free delivery with MRW. Estimated 24 to 72 hours from dispatch, subject to availability.
  • Other European Union countries we serve: delivery with TNT / FedEx, estimated 3 to 5 days. The cost depends on destination and weight and is shown in the basket before you pay.
  • We do not deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.

Delivery times are estimates and count in working days. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, by force majeure, or by an incomplete or incorrect address.

When the parcel arrives: if it is damaged or has been opened, do not accept it and tell us as soon as possible at info@zapatoideal.com. Delivery is made against signature. If you are not at home, the carrier will leave a notice and try again. If delivery is not possible after those attempts, the parcel comes back to us and we will contact you.

8. Right of withdrawal: 14 days to return

If you buy as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you receive the goods (or the last item, if the order arrives in several deliveries).

How to do it: tell us clearly before the deadline, by email to info@zapatoideal.com or by letter to Calle Almansa 65 (Nave 3), 03206 Elche, Alicante, Spain. An unambiguous statement is enough; you may use the official model form in Annex B of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act, but you are not obliged to.

Returning the goods: send them back without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 calendar days after telling us your decision.

Cost of returning the goods: you bear the direct cost of sending the product back to us. The first size or colour exchange is an exception: we cover that shipping. Any further exchange on the same order is at your expense.

Getting your money back: we will refund all payments received, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after you tell us you are withdrawing. We will use the same means of payment you used, unless you ask for another. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or until you show that you have sent them.

Condition of the goods: you may try them on as you would in a physical shop. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods; in that case we may deduct the corresponding amount from the refund. Please return the item with its box and labels where possible.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

All our products carry the legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU), as amended by Royal Decree-Law 7/2021:

  • We are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 3 years of delivery.
  • During the first 2 years, the defect is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery: you do not have to prove it.
  • You may choose between repair or replacement, unless one of them is impossible or disproportionate. If the problem is not solved, you may ask for a price reduction or terminate the contract.
  • All of this is free of charge: the costs needed to bring the goods into conformity, shipping included, are ours.
  • You have 5 years from the moment the lack of conformity appears to bring a claim (Art. 124 TRLGDCU).

To make a warranty claim, write to info@zapatoideal.com quoting your order number and describing the problem. Please keep your proof of purchase.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by improper use, impacts or incorrect care.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

If something has gone wrong, write to us first at info@zapatoideal.com: almost everything can be sorted out by talking. We reply as soon as we can.

If we cannot reach an agreement: you may contact the consumer authorities, such as your local Consumer Information Office (OMIC) or the Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs of the Generalitat Valenciana.

About the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: it stopped operating on 20 July 2025, when Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. It no longer exists, which is why we do not link to it. If you buy from another European Union country, you may turn to the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) or to the alternative dispute resolution bodies in your country.

As a consumer, you can always go to the courts of your place of residence.

11. Use of the website and intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logos and design of this website are protected by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 on Intellectual Property. You may view them and use them to shop, but not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission.

You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, introduce malicious code, or do anything that could damage or overload the service.

12. Liability

We take reasonable steps to keep the information on the website correct and the service running without interruption. We are not liable for damage caused by force majeure, by network failures or by third parties outside our control, nor for the content of linked websites we do not manage.

Nothing in this section limits the rights that the law grants to consumers, which apply in every case.

13. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Act 3/2018. The details are in our privacy policy and our cookie policy.

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to and restrict its processing, and to request its portability, by writing to info@zapatoideal.com. And if you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

14. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. In contracts with consumers, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the buyer's country of habitual residence within the European Union also apply.
